Each extension represents a specific <strong>organic</strong> or <strong>paid</strong> marketing channel. <p>You do not URLs for each Pre-Save store in order to collect pre-saves!</p>
<h3 id="h_01JCNS56SXAJ7QKM1M63DCQ2V4">Auto-scan Stores</h3>
<p>Individual store links will automatically populate for all supported Auto-scan Stores once the Pre-Save Link converts to a Released Music Link. <em>These store links are not necessary in order to collect pre-saves!</em></p>
<p>Once your link converts, the Feature.fm auto-scan function begins matching the source code (Scan Source) across DSPs to pull in and populate the store-specific URL. As long as the <strong>Auto-scan </strong>button is switched on for the DSP, and your music is available on that platform, the store link should automatically populate after the link converts. </p>

<p>For any custom stores or DSPs not supported with auto-matching, links will need to be added manually in order for these stores to display on the landing page. </p>

<p>In this case, you can manually re-trigger the auto-scan by clicking <strong>Scan </strong>next to the source code. If your music is retrievable, the store links should populate. </p>
<p>For best matching results, it is recommended to use a UPC or ISRC. Using a URL from another DSP may not match across all DSPs.</p>

<p>If you are looking to direct fans to your YouTube Music artist profile (as opposed to your YouTube channel) - you can search for your artist name and filter the results to artists on <a href="https://music.youtube.com/">https://music.youtube.com/</a>. Hover over the artist profile that matches yours and on the far right-hand side, you'll see an icon with three dots. Select this and choose the <strong>Share</strong> option. You'll find the corresponding artist profile URL at the bottom of the modal with an option to Copy.</p>

<p data-start="144" data-end="395">You can customize the appearance of your smart links in two ways: by editing the settings of an individual link or by adjusting the default settings at the folder or account level. How to Change the Appearance of a Smart Link

<p>If you are creating a new link, either to replicate a particular smart link or simply wanting to create the new link with the same settings as an existing link, you have the ability to Duplicate any existing smart link rather than starting from scratch. </p>
<p><em>Currently this feature is only available for Released Links and Action Pages but will eventually be available for all link types.</em></p>

<p>The Future Save can be enabled on any Pre-Save Link, as well as through an Action button on the Bio Link. If an artist does not have a scheduled release coming up, they can still use a Pre-Save Link as a dedicated landing page for collecting Future Save Fans. </p>
<h3 id="h_01JJA0M1N3W2JF58BGW1EY9HPN">How it works</h3>
<p>First, be sure that the Future Save has been configured with the artist profile URLs. You can do that by opening the Link Creation modal in the Smart Links dashboard (click the green + sign), and selecting the <strong>Configure </strong>option under Future Save. Be sure to toggle <strong>Status </strong>to ON.</p>

<p>Once the Future Save has been configured with the artist profile URLs, return to the Smart Link Creation modal and select <strong>Create </strong>under Pre-Save Link.</p>

<p>Because there is no scheduled release date, you will setup the Pre-Save Link as an <a href="https://blog.feature.fm/get-pre-saves-without-konwing-when-your-next-release-is-evergree-pre-save/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Evergreen Pre-Save</a>. This means you can leave the Scan Source field blank, and set the Release Date to several months ahead (we recommend at least six months, up to one year out). The intention here is to avoid having the link convert from a Pre-Save to a Released Link, which cannot be undone.</p>

You can continue collecting Future Save Fans via both links, but having a dedicated Pre-Save Link for the next release is necessary in order for the music to be added to all Future Save Fans' libraries.</li>
<li>The Future Save tool works based on Artist ID Matching, meaning that whichever artist profile is configured on the Future Save must match with the artist ID of any release. If they do not match, the Future Saves will fail to deliver.</li>
<li>If any artist profile URLs are removed from the Future Save configuration, all Future Save Fans will be automatically unsubscribed from the Future Save for those platforms.</li>
<li>You can edit the "Release Date" of the Future Save landing page (aka Evergreen Pre-Save) at any point as needed. </li>

How to create a dedicated landing page for Future Save

<p>When the Future Save is enabled on a Pre-Save Smart Link, two things are activated: </p>
<ul>
<li>Fans that complete a Pre-Save will be prompted to join the Future Save to receive all future releases.</li>
<li>When the Pre-Save converts, it will deliver to any fan active in your Future Saves along with the fans that took specifically requested the release from the Pre-Save page.</li>
</ul>
<p>Pre-Saves with the Future Save enabled will both <em>collect</em> new Future Save fans and <em>deliver</em> to Future Save fans. Both these activities are tracked in your Pre-Save Insights and here is how to read that data. </p>
<h2 id="h_01J33ESG42DJ9MMTN8V3ZNF7GY">Pre-Save Delivery</h2>
<h3 id="h_01JAGCDSRVHD54BHC685E6KS0Q">One Time Pre-Save vs Forever Pre-Saves</h3>
<p>When looking at the <a href="https://help.feature.fm/articles/10366757975053-Reading-the-Pre-Save-Delivery-Analytics">Pre-Save Delivery Analytics</a>, you will see three primary numbers: Total Pre-Saves, One-time Pre-Saves and Forever Pre-Saves. </p>
<p><strong>Total Pre-Saves</strong> is the total number of fan libraries that your music will deliver to on your Release Date. </p>
<p><strong>One-time Pre-Saves</strong> is the number of fans who pre-saved through this particular link. They are set to receive the Pre-Save when it converts because they took a Pre-Save action for this release in particular. </p>
<p><strong>Forever Pre-Saves</strong> is the number of fans who are set to receive the Pre-Save when it converts <em>only because</em> they are already in the Future Save segment.</p>
<h3 id="h_01JAGCDZV941M49PD7EF329M78">How these numbers are calculated</h3>
<p>Your Total Pre-Saves number is the deduped number of fan libraries that are getting your Pre-Save. When you first create your Pre-Save, your Total Pre-Saves number will be the same as your Forever Pre-Saves number. This is because the only fans that are set to get the content are ones that have opt-ed in to get anything you release.</p>
<p>Any fan that visits your Smart Link and completes the Pre-Save process will be counted as a One Time Pre-Save. If a fan who is already in the Future Save visits your Smart Link and completes a Pre-Save, they will be counted in the One Time Pre-Save number and removed from the Future Save count. </p>
<p>This means your Future Save fans in your delivery analytics will be the fans that are set to receive your release only because they did not complete an individual Pre-Save request on <em>this</em> Smart Link. You can use the Total Visits and One Time Pre-Saves to see the conversion rate of your page.</p>
<h2 id="h_01J33EVQCKQ3PDH86YVP89WDQS">Future Save Collection </h2>
<p>To tell the number of Future Save Fans added from a particular Pre-Save Link, you can refer to Post Pre-Save Actions on your link Insights page. Post Pre-Save Actions include follow actions on Spotify, Deezer, Tidal, and YouTube Music, as well as Future Save opt-ins across <a href="https://help.feature.fm/articles/28492562085517-What-streaming-platforms-work-with-Future-Save">all supported stores</a>. </p>
<p>Simply add the number of Future Saves across stores to find the total number of Future Save Fans gained through this Pre-Save link. </p>
<h2 id="h_01J33F9X1W2JAQSXE17K7GB4D5">Why is the number of Future Save Fans in my Audience segment not adding up to the number of Forever Pre-Saves on my Pre-Save Analytics?</h2>
<p>There are a couple of reasons that the number of Future Save Fans may not add up to the number of Forever Pre-Saves in your Pre-Save Analytics. The first reason is if a fan who opted into your Future Save on a previous Pre-Save link later pre-saves on another link, this fan will be counted as a One-time Pre-Save instead of a Forever Pre-Save. The second reason is if this fan who opted into the Future Save on a previous Pre-Save link then pre-saves again on another link, and this time they de-select the Future Save opt-in, this fan will be removed from the count of your Future Save Fans; however, they will not be removed entirely from the segment. This fan will still receive all future releases. </p>

Klaviyo: Connecting your account to Feature.fm

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Feature.fm allows you to seamlessly sync the emails and other fan data you collect to a designated mailing list in Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, or Klaviyo through the <strong>Integrations </strong>page. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;"></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">To setup email integration, log into your Feature.fm account and click on the drop-down in the upper right-hand corner of your account. Select <strong>Integrations</strong>.</span></p>

How to Sync Audience Emails with MailChimp, Active Campaign, or Klaviyo

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In order to set up email integration in your Feature.fm account, you’ll need to generate and retrieve your API key from Mailchimp and/or ActiveCampaign. Here's how to generate and retrieve your keys and other important information.</span></p>
<h3 id="h_01JCPFVKT340ZVY0B7RBD3EQB0"><span class="wysiwyg-color-black"><strong>Mailchimp:</strong></span></h3>
<p>To generate an API key, follow these steps:</p>

<li>Click your profile icon and choose <strong>Profile</strong>

<li>Click the <strong>Extras </strong>drop-down then select <strong>API keys </strong>
</li>
<li>In the API Keys section, select <strong>Create a Key</strong>
</li>
<li>Name your key for Feature.fm. Be descriptive, so you know which app is using the key. </li>
<li>Click <strong>Generate Key</strong>
</li>
<li>Once your key is generated, click <strong>Copy Key to Clipboard </strong>and paste into your Feature.fm Email Integrations Save this key in a secure place, as you will not be able to see or copy it again. If the key is lost, you will need to generate a new key and update the key in Feature.fm. </li>

<p>The Meta Conversion API enables you to send event data from Feature.fm landing pages to your Meta Business Manager account. The CAPI is similar to retargeting pixels in that it captures and sends information about the activity on your smart links so that you can track conversions and run conversion campaigns. The CAPI is more reliable in sending this data as it isn't limited by browser restrictions or third-party cookie settings. </p>
<p>Setting up your CAPI is simple and can be done in the following steps.</p>
<h1 id="h_01HNXW50KYMXHCMZ0BA6RWP6FZ">How do I setup the Meta CAPI?</h1>
<h3 id="h_01HNXW7DRWYQDEP78B2FHR2EWY">Step 1: Create / Select a Meta Pixel</h3>
<p id="h_01HP2E0H565VT3PXQ82KEB4MS7">To use the CAPI, you'll first need to select which Meta Pixel you're going to use. If you haven't yet created a Meta Pixel, or want to setup a new pixel to use for Feature.fm, <a href="https://www.facebook.com/business/help/952192354843755?id=1205376682832142">follow the steps in this article</a>. Once you've got the pixel you're going to use, navigate over to the <strong>Settings</strong> tab for that individual pixel. </p>
<h3 id="h_01HP2E0H56P30FHBRDNEDBKP2T">Step 2: Generate a Conversion API Access Token from your Facebook Events Manager</h3>
<p>Once you're inside your Events Manager dashboard, navigate to <strong>Settings </strong>for the individual pixel you're using and scroll down to <strong>Conversions API</strong>, then select <strong>Generate access token</strong>. This will create an alphanumerical ID. </p>

<p>Copy the Access Token code and navigate back to your Feature.fm account <strong>Default Link Settings </strong>(from dropdown menu in top right corner of your dashboard). Create a new CAPI pixel and paste the Access Token ID into the appropriate field.</p>
<h3 id="h_01HNXW7TJNC0BMGWWQ133MJAX6">Step 4: Give the token a name and save it</h3>
<p>You can name the CAPI token in your Default Link Settings, making it easy to identify and select the correct pixel on other smart links. </p>
<h3 id="h_01HNXW7YESD3V7WNRC07SPHZT8">Step 5: Add the token ID to any existing Artist folders and Smart Links </h3>
<p>Once you've added the Token to your Default Link Settings, it will automatically be applied to all new Artist folders and Smart Links you create thereafter. For any existing folders / smart links, you will need to manually add the ID to the individual Default Link Settings (for folders) and Link Advanced Settings (for smart links) in the same way you added it into your Account Settings. </p>
<h1 id="h_01HQ6V42VMJ35AKEN3BB6H8JFD">Will the CAPI pixel apply to all smart links?</h1>
<p>The CAPI pixel you setup in <strong>Default Link Settings </strong>for each Artist folder or account will automatically populate in all new smart links created once the pixel is added. For existing smart links, the CAPI pixel will need to be added manually in <strong>Link Settings </strong>for those smart links.</p>

<p>To create a custom conversion with the 'FeatureFM' you will use the Event Parameter Rules to define which action / parameter you are counting as a conversion. Here is an example of creating a Custom Conversion for a music service click: </p>

Now users can create Custom Conversions using these individual events as opposed to relying on Event Parameters being available through the 'FeatureFM' event.
